Solo Travel, Digital Nomad Life & Global Stories That Connect Us
For years, I chased the “security” of corporate life, trying to find the feelings of stability and safety I never had growing up. But after rising to leadership roles and still facing multiple layoffs—income losses that drained my rainy‑day fund faster than I could ever rebuild it—I realized the truth: the stability I had been fighting so hard for was an illusion—and the years of hustling had cost me my passions and creativity, my health, and my sense of fulfillment. Life had been happening all around me and mine was passing me by.

I watched too many people postpone their lives for weekends, vacations, or retirement, only to be too burned out or unwell to enjoy any of it. After too many 14‑hour days and even a trip to the emergency room, I realized I was already on that same path, and if I didn’t make a change, I’d spend my life waiting instead of living. I decided to ditch 9 to 5 life and became a consultant. I sold my home, put my things in storage, downsized into two suitcases, and set out to travel the world solo as a digital nomad. Did I give up a lot?

Definitely. But what I gained (freedom, creativity, and a renewed sense of purpose) has made me fall back in love with the world—and my life again.
These days, I document my journey in real time, sharing the good parts, the tough parts, and the cultural experiences that make solo traveling and nomading so meaningful. What I’ve learned is that the world opens up when we do—and has so much to teach us if we slow down and explore it with curiosity and heart.
I hope you’ll come along on my journey. I’d love the company!
